Requiem for a Dream Audiovisual project:
Artist, producer, filmmaker and researcher LAMIA returns with her most ambitious release to date: ‘Requiem For A Dream'. A self-produced single accompanied by LAMIA's directorial debut music video, Requiem For A Dream marks the first chapter of her forthcoming visual album Nighthawks, due for release in early 2027.
Blending deconstructed dance music, experimental electronic production, cinematic storytelling and contemporary art practice, the project further establishes LAMIA as one of the most compelling interdisciplinary voices emerging from London and Berlin's underground electronic scene.
Project Synopsis:
A lonely character (LAMIA) wanders the streets of Hong Kong, reflecting on a past relationship in a surreal, dreamy nightworld. Her night wanderings give her the space to realise her loneliness, and that she must let go of the past and move on.

‘Simulacra States’ 3D Audio Visual series
Simulacra States is an international multidisciplinary collaboration between London/Berlin-based music artist and producer LAMIA and Nebraska-based computational artist Brian Hart. The five-clip series of 3D computer rendered portraits explore themes of disembodied digitalised identity curation through social media, with each video featuring a track from LAMIA's EP Simulacra.
The project was supported by funding from MusicBoard Berlin.
Lamia performs a live version of the series ‘Simulacra States AV Live’ internationally and is open to further opportunities to present this work in live settings.
